About this blog

I decided to learn Lezgi language, but could not find any course or a textbook to study it. There are a couple of dictionaries and there is complete book of grammar by a German linguist, yet even those texts are good as reference, they are not useful for teaching yourself this language. In the United States there is absolutely no opportunity to study Lezgi language in an academic settings,  and so here goes this site with the hope that some lezgiyar around the world will contribute with comments and advice.

Я решил выучить лезгинский язык, но после долгих посиков не смог найти ни одного приличного самоучителя. Научные словари и описательная грамматика изданная в Германии могут служить вспомогательным матерялом, но не основным. Вот я и решил создать этой блог в надежде, что лезгины знающие свой родной язык помогут коментариями и советами всем тем кто хочет его выучить или вспомнить, и находясь в дали от лезгинских краев не может этого сделать через прямое общение.
